Nice hike today, and while I was out there I had a couple of thoughts about why I liked Three Body Problem beyond "cool words." All my own opinion, 'course.

Strange thought blurb expose times! :D In lieu of fic, because my brain works funny when adjusting to new schedules.

Just came back from work a few hours ago; days go by a lot faster when you've got sleep on your side. But then a thought floated by: why do days at work crawl so much more than days at school did for me?

( Ergo the theory that there obviously needs to be things to be destroyed before anything is interesting )

A lot of stuff's been going down in LJ land of late - Dreamwidth and Racefail and many other deep, deep things that I can't hope to ever understand or involve myself in. So instead I write a long thing here, which is just my two cents, but maybe you'll all find it an interesting one.

As I finish up some work with economics (oh god, that took me two days, this is evil) and fight my way through literature, a couple of fandom things, just for personal metamumbling.
